Memorial Day weekend was the official kickoff to the DSA 2021 sailing season.
With the sun shining on our faces, and wind filling the sails, it is needless to say we all had a great time out there. Thanks to all our volunteers, we were able to build two new sections of the dock throughout April and May. This new dock was welcomed by our members to launch boats into Arkabutla lake smooth as ever. Five boats, both classes of Lightning and Thistles were out on the water, skippers and crew eager to get out and race.
The great weather and turnout leads into a promising year of sailing, many more fun times to be had. Thank you to everyone who came out, and we look forward to seeing everybody out on the water in future sailing events!
